An extensive botanical collection
The Mildred Mathias Botanical Garden (Los Angeles) is located on the magnificent campus of the University of California, Los Angeles ( UCLA). It has one of the most important botanical collections in the United States with samples of plants from around the world. The garden is frost-free, so it can display many different species of tropical and subtropical plants. There are approximately 5000 species of 225 families growing here.
