Mildford Track

This track, which I didn´t have a chance to book ahead of time, is not something to be missed. If you can book ahead, though, I do recommend it. The Milford Track is the most famous walking tour of NZ and also known as "the most beautiful walking route in the world". It is set amidst stunning scenery, mountains and forests in Fordland National Park in the southwest of the South Island. As the route is totally touristic, it is completely protected allowing only a certain amount of people per year to access it, and only during select periods, which is generally October through April. So if you want to perform better cn call well in advance for them to indicate the dates that you can perform and availability.
