UNESCO World Heritage Site
Miguasha National Park is located in the Gaspé Peninsula in the province of Quebec and is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of the important things about this place is that it contains large deposits of fossils that have been keys to complete the story of the evolution of life on earth. The coastal area consists of sedimentary rocks that are more than 350 and 375 million years old, and which host a large number of fossils and valuable information because this place has witnessed such a long passage of time.
Additionally, this place contains a vast amount of archaeological wealth as well as natural wealth which can be found in the woods.
