Metropol Hotel

Undoubtedly one of the best and most luxurious hotels in Moscow. A short walk from Red Square and the Bolshoi, this hotel has had an excellent reputation for quite some time. It is famous for hosting several 19th century celebrities. I can't really tell you about the quality of the hotel, but the building itself is remarkable. There's a huge glass roof above the hotel, very art-nouveau style, and it looks great in the landscape. It also has amazing frescoes and mosaics done and signed by Vrubel that adorn the top of the building. Take time to observe the works of art, since the place is very nice in the summer.
