Prague Metronome

Si può vedere fin dal centro città questo enorme metronomo rosso che scandisce la vita di Praga. Fu costruito nel 1991 da Vratislav Novak, dopo la distruzione nel 1962 del precedente monumento che raffigurava Stalin. La barra rossa è alta 23 metri e fa un certo effetto quando ci si trova sotto. Ci si arriva attraversando il ponte Čechův e salendo la scalinata, posta proprio sotto il metronomo. Il posto è incredibile in quanto a viste sulla città. In primo piano vediamo il fiume Vltava e oltre ad esso il centro cittadino. La collina di Letná su cui si trova ospita inoltre un grande parco con grandi alberi e una fitta vegetazione.

It can be seen from the city center this huge red metronome that marks the life of Prague. It was built in 1991 by Vratislav Novak, after the destruction in 1962 of the previous monument depicting Stalin. The red bar is 23 meters high and has a certain effect when we are under. It can be reached by crossing the bridge Čechův and climbing the stairs, placed just below the metronome. The place is amazing in terms of views of the city. In the foreground we see the Vltava river and beyond it the city center. The hill on which Letná is also home to a large park with tall trees and dense vegetation.
