Mestni Trg Square
Loka Skofja is the main square in this pretty medieval Slovenian village. It's striking because instead of being square and Spain, the tendency there is to have a lot of elongated spaces, almost like a slightly wider street. In the center of this square is a statue of Mary (Marijino ZNAMENJE) that was built to give thanks for prevention against plague and fire. You can also go see the Town Hall that dates back to the 16th century and was restored in 1972, leaving bare Baroque frescoes.
