Viking House Mercury

Madrid is the work of architect Lampérez Romea. The house has four floors and roof and is surmounted by the effigy of a character which, although not made clear in any of the documents or drawings of Lampérez Romea, is believed to be the god Mercury, although it has said it could be the goddess Minerva or, given its possible appearance with helmet and horns (really wings), "the Viking", which is traditionally known as Burgos. Figure is inserted into an oculus on the façade of red brick, stone and wrought iron. In 2010 the building was restored again and has become apartments.
