El mercado de abastos de Tetuán es muy variado. Abajo del todo hay mesas circulares de piedra donde se vende pescado mayormente. Arriba, hay tiendas que ofertan desde ultramarinos, a mantas polares e incluso una curiosa floristería con unos ramos cuánto menos llamativos.

Le Marché Central de Tétouan se situe dans l'ancien quartier espagnol. Il se tient à l'intérieur d'un bâtiment de style hypano-mauresque bâti dans les années 40 d'après les dessins de l'architecte Fernandez Shaw. Ce sont de véritables halles où les fruits et légumes s'étalent en corne d'abondance et où on trouve aussi des produits typiques comme ces racines qu'on m'a dit venir de la montagne.
