Mercadillo en la Plaza de la Ribera

As is known to all in the surrounding area, and even in other countries, the Plaza de la Ribera, which is integrated into Paseo de la Ribera, is one of the most representative and the most attractive in Ayamonte. Within the plaza, there are white stalls, all with cone tops, extending the entire length of the square and into the crowd of palm and Araucaria trees that serve as shelter. You can access the market from the roundabouts that are on both sides and at the ends of the square. Most sell similar and fashionable items like headbands, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, silk or cotton scarves, colourful cloth bags, bandoliers, painted images of Buddha, the best known Virgins or Saints.
