Market Mokotow

Saliendo un poco de lo que es el corazón de Varsovia existen infinidad de barrios residenciales donde los polacos viven ajenos al vaivén de los turistas. Este es el caso de Mokotow en cuyo mercado se puede encontrar todo tipo de ropas, libros, juguetes, herramientas, zapatos, así como otros 'artilugios' varios. ¡Hasta una cinta de UVH me crucé yo por allí (en 2013)! No es exactamente un Candem Town, no se trata de una zona de comprar hiperalternativa y llena de guiris, pero al encontrar cosas tan curiosas me vino el recuerdo sin querer. Además de comprar historias, algunas a precios muy baratos (¡regatea como si estuvieras en Marruecos!), se puede comer. Hay varias panaderías en las que apañarte todo tipo de dulces. Muy cerca de este mercado hay un McDonalds, ideal si necesitas pillar WIFI (se coge desde fuera, ¡yupi!).
