Like Stonehenge without the tourists
Sine Ngayène is an archaeological site that resembles Druid sites in Celtic countries. It has many huge monoliths grouped in circles or strange designs. These are unique to the Senegambia region. You can get there from Ngayene Sabakh by looking for someone to take you in their carriage. A tip "for their time" and some food for their horse is a normal fee. You can walk, it is an hour of road between baobabs and the African savannah. It is a very pleasant journey in the early hours of the day. A team of American scientists began studying the place (they are called "whites" in the village and have the only steady house and shower in Ngayene), but the site is not protected, nor is complex, and there is no entry price.
