May De Ville Old Quarter Hotel

This hotel is conveniently located for walking to all the Old Quarter of Hanoi. It is walking distance from Hoan Kiem Lake and just outside the door you are greeted with all the chaos and noise of Hanoi. The rooms are quite nice, fairly contemporary décor and a spa tub. It has wifi area and we even had a computer with free internet in the room itself. The staff and service are good. You can even leave the suitcase at reception during the days you're going to make trips to other areas like Sapa or Halong and take only the essentials so you do not have to carry everything. The only downside, which is quite important - when we were having breakfast one of my traveling companions saw a rat crawl under the tables.
