Masséna Palace
Masséna Palace was built between 1898 and 1901 and was influenced by the Italian villas. After World War I, the children of Victor Masséna donated it to the city of Nice on the condition that it be transformed into a Museum of Art and History. The gardens are open to the general public. In 1921, the Masséna Museum was inaugurated. It is located on the Promenade des Anglais (Nice), across from the pebble beach ( which is uncomfortable and even painful to walk on barefoot) that contrasts beautifully
