birthplace of folk music

Catching the interlocal bus (9-seater van where more than 20 people travel) from Managua towards Granada, we found Masaya, known for its craft markets and called the city of flowers (they dedicate themselves to selling, plus crafts, flower). You need to lose yourself in the market closest to the express bus terminal, because it's not dedicated to tourism and the locals do their shopping there. There is another market, more touristy and therefore more expensive. It is in an old building renovated colonial building with stalls of masks, necklaces and jewelry made from seeds, typical Nicaraguan clothes, etc.
