A futuristic design

The Mary Rose Museum finally opened its doors to visitors last year. Built just a few steps away from Nelson's flagship, HMS Victory, this museum has futuristic architecture reminiscent of a ship. Inside you can see the hull of the Mary Rose, kept in glass for protection from the elements. Pictures and movies tell the ship's history, and you can also see a number of Tudor artifacts reclaimed from the sea. This ship, raised from the seabed in 1982, is the only sixteenth century warship in the world available to view.
