Martin's Tavern is one of the oldest and most famous restaurants in Washington DC and it's located in the heart of Georgetown. Popular among politicians, this warm and friendly tavern has slowly become a symbol of high-level power lunches in the nation's capital. We had an enormous corned beef sandwich with cheese, grilled bacon and mustard, which was excellent. The chocolate lava cake for dessert was to die for, as was the key lime pie. The prices are pretty reasonable: $50.00 for two mains, dessert and drinks, including tax.
