Lovely coastal town of Egypt that is more and more popular

Marsa Matruh is a lovely coastal town of Egypt which is close to the Libyan border and about 250 miles from Alexandria. Over the years it has turned into a perfect summer spot for Egyptians. Thee is always a great atmosphere on the streets and people going all the way. It also has a spectacular harbor and an airport. The highlight of this city is the beach that is. It is a big beach with white sand that makes. The beach area tourist is usually fairly empty. For me this is a bit unlikely, because in Spain it would be impossible to have a beach of its kind and not exploited. They have another way of looking at life, it is more about the beach.

The surrounding area around Marsa Matruh is pretty deserted. As for the streets of the city, we find everything from small neighborhoods full of narrow streets and tiny shops that sell everything, even wider avenues that are filled with traders and travelers who are waiting to go elsewhere or who have just arrived. If we follow the road that goes into Egypt we will find another place quite famous after World War II, El Alamein (from Marsa Matruh is a train that takes us directly). Here they fought two of the hardest battles of the War, in which many soldiers died. Currently there is a monument commemorating the events and a huge military cemetery.
