Market of Kairouan

Kairouan is the fourth holiest city in Islam, and is the oldest Muslim city in the Maghreb. The market is in the center of the medina (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and is unique. There are beautiful ceramics, carpets and excellent flavor of delicious cakes "makrouds" etc..
