Marina of the Dunes

In the far north of Guardamar del Segura, almost on the border with the district of La Marina, you can find the Marina Dunes. They are protected from the winds from the sea by sand dunes, and are small, cute and not too extravagant. Of course, it is always lovely to see all these boats together, while walking (if allowed) by the floating docks, and there you may meet a sailor that had come from Ireland, Sweden, or perhaps another far away country. The courage of these people is amazing, something I respect tremendously. It is on an end of town that you can very eaily access and it is very comfortable to stroll there, so it has become over time one of the benchmarks for athletes who come here by bike, "jogging" or simply speedwalking.
