Widening into a square, Maria-Theresien-Strasse opens, the white side of the Santa Ana column, better known to the Innsbruck perspective, the old town and the steep slopes of Nordkette. Among the buildings from different periods are some beautiful baroque palaces: properties Lodron at No. 7, Troyer at No. 39, Trapp at No. 38, Sarnthein at No. 59 and, in the n 43, the Altes Landhaus, the seat of government of the Tyrol.
