Maria do Carmo Restaurant

This great restaurant is located in the vicinity of the palace and before entering the center of the capital of Tras-os-Montes. The restaurant serves regional Portuguese cuisine, so I had to try the cod which was very good. The restaurant is spacious and pleasant with large windows. In addition to fish specialties, they serve grilled meats, baked goat, rice with duck etc. The menu is varied, the dishes are made with local, quality ingredients and, of course, the prices are very good.
