At the end of our tour of the spice...
At the end of our tour of the spice farms, we visited this natural cave, which was part of the history of the Zanzibar slave trade. This is where ships left following the abolition of the slave trade, where they could travel unseen. It has a narrow entrance and a source of drinking water inside. Legend has it that the entrance was discovered by a shepherd searching for a lost goat. You pay $ 1.00 to enter. Visitors are restricted to a small area inside, while the guide makes explanations.
