In Russia, prima o poi avrete senza dubbio nostalgia della cucina italiana. La catena di ristoranti Mama Roma a San Pietroburgo è senza dubbio la soluzione ideale per ritrovare qualche sapore di casa nostra. Si può partire con una classica bruschetta o una focaccia, quindi il ricchissimo menu include una gran varietà di primi piatti appetitosi, che includono penne, spaghetti, tagliolini, gnocchi e risotti. La qualità è davvero alta, nonostante cuochi e camerieri non siano affatto italiani, ed i prezzi sono piuttosto economici. I secondi piatti includono specialità di pesce (salmone, trota, frutti di mare), carni bianche e rosse e persino l’ossobuco con polenta. Evitare i risotti, l’unico piatto che non era cucinato in modo ottimale. Noi abbiamo testato due differenti locali, quello in Via Karavannaya 3 (metro Gostiny Dvor) e quello Corso Zagorodniy 23 (metro Dostoyevskaya). Tutti e due sono molto caratteristici e ricordano una classica trattoria toscana, ci siamo trovati benissimo in entrambi, forse il secondo un pizzico di qualità superiore. Costo medio di una cena circa 50 euro per 3 persone, ordinando: bruschetta con patè di olive, focaccia (sufficiente per tre), tre primi piatti, due secondi piatti (carne e pesce con contorno), 2 soft drink, una birra locale da mezzo litro e mancia. Non è necessaria la prenotazione.

We have tested two different rooms, one in Via Karavannaya 3 (Gostiny Dvor metro) and the Course Zagorodniy 23 (metro Dostoyevskaya). Both are very characteristic and reminiscent of a classic Tuscan trattoria, we loved them both, maybe the second pinch of higher quality. Average cost of a dinner about 50 euro for 3 people, ordering: bruschetta with olive paste, cake (enough for three), three first courses, two main dishes (meat and fish with vegetables), 2 soft drinks, local beer from half a liter and tip.
