Malapascua Exotic Dive Centre y Resort

    Excellent

Malapascua has become the global spot for diving at dawn and for coming across thresher sharks, which are guaranteed to be seen the majority of the year, and the Exotic was the first dive center on the island that started them. The resort is owned by a Dutch/Phillipine couple, and is quite a nice place with very nice rooms and an area for backpackers and people who stay to become divemasters or instructors and spends months on the island. The dive center is the most complete I've seen, has all the qualifications and certifications, such as the National Geographic dive center, and the couple who run it, Jo Hermitage, England.

And Angel Navarro, Spanish, created a lively atmosphere and at the same time very professional. Every morning at dawn, the boats come out to find the thresher sharks, and during the day there are regular departures at 9, 13:30, and at 5 pm, with several boat and diving spots, which allow can be several days without repeating dives. My favorite was Jack encounterm Thresher shark island, East garden, Nuñez and Calanggaman. I met many people who had gone to spend a few days and had finally gone weeks and even months to become divemaster or instructor, and that Angel is one of the most renowned instructors worldwide.
