Majui

The highest mountain in Cota, the Majui is an inhabited Indian reservation. It has trails that start from the village, that are signposted and translations of the most used Indian words, but this is not the best way to go up the mountain, the twist is to go up at night, hopefully with a bottle of brandy to fight the cold. Camping is not very luxurious, but in the morning when you go out of the tent across the Savannah of Bogotá and you see a thick cloud layer that looks like a big cotton mattress, you'll appreciate it.
