Main Street

This street (Kale Nagusia in Basque), Camino de Santiago, traverse the small but charming medieval town of Orio. From the church of San Nicolas de Bari along a narrow route you can see numerous manor houses, among which are examples from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. One of these buildings, the palace Iturriaga, is the Interpretation Centre Camino de Santiago.
