Penguin Island

The Magellanic penguins in Puerto Deseada, live in colonies in a protected area of ​​the Deseado River, which can be reached in a semi-rigid rubber boat, with which you can reach their habitat. The best way to observe this species is by taking that sea excursion to which I refer above, since most of these birds nest on islands or cliffs. Due to weather and lack of penguins, tours leave from September to April and in winter do not operate. Magellan penguins, come in early September and pigeons can be seen from late November to mid February and both adult and juvenile specimens leaving in April.
