Maestranza César Girón? Bullring
Inspired by the Royal Cavalry of Seville bullring, this one was designed by the Venezuelan architect Carlos Raul Villanueva. The bullring was inaugurated in 1933 by President Juan Vicente Gomez, who was the first to do so in Venezuela. This bullring has a peculiarity because the balcony of the presidency is at the level of the arena, which isn't typical. Also, is a small arena to hinder the work of the choppers at the request of General Gomez. Bullfights are still important during the fair of St. Joseph, patron of the city.
