Innovative, well-planned, and modern

One of the neighborhoods that has the most tourist potential today in Buenos Aires is definitely Puerto Madero. This beautiful urban are is futuristic, innovative, well-planned, and modern. Currently, there is a large housing development in this area. Aside from its great location being near many important place such as the Casa Rosada, Plaza de Mayo, the City Council and others. It is the entrance of the Rio de la Plata with its large active port where there are beautiful views of the city. In Puerto Madero, there are a variety of restaurants and shops and you can walk along the river banks and see the boats.

The exclusive Yacht Club, which has a long tradition in the country, is in this neighborhood. Another attraction is the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve, a green space with a diverse plantlife which lets thousands of visitors get in touch with nature. One of the bridges across the river, linking the city Puerto Madero, is a beautiful structure brought from Spain. Its designer wanted to evoke the figure of a couple dancing tango. This is a pedestrian bridge that has been dubbed the Women's Bridge, which was opened in 2001. When you cross this beautiful bridge, you'll get a panoramic view of the Rio de la Plata, Buenos Aires and Puerto Madero.

Full of restaurants nightclubs

Excellent

It's very true when they say Buenos Aires is the Europe of South America not only for its Parisian, Italian and Spanish architecture but Puerto Madero is another example.

The old ship port was built by the English over 100 years ago and was entirely recycled to become the city’s most modern neighbourhood and inspired the Docklands renovation in London.

Full of restaurants nightclubs and luxury towers surrounded by the charisma of the renewed docks and the Rio de la Plata’s riverside Is definitely a sight to see.

This neighborhood of Buenos Aires...

Piso 2, frente.
This neighborhood of Buenos Aires called Puerto Madero today, I knew when I was very young and it was hard and far reaching, was for more than 50 years now abandoned and has become an exclusive residential excellence and elegance, good taste, the amazing buildings, good restaurants and businesses in the City. One of the details to make is that all the streets pay tribute to outstanding women in Argentina's history. Among the magnificent all-glass buildings and old houses, we can discover some chateau as the building of the Hilton Hotel, although new, is made of a very classic French style, we can also admire the old factories recovered its old port opened in 1897, with a particularly awarded Uruguay Corvette Museum and Fragata Sarmiento, who live harmoniously with some elegant yachts and sailboats Yatcht Club Puerto Madero, the exhibition of old cranes, squares and plazas. It is a pleasure to walk it, walk around it, look up and down, in the midst of a fine drizzle that gave the leaden sky ideal for good pictures. There we find the Fountain of the Nereids, the Juan Manuel Fangio and his Mercedes Bez self Monument that became famous racing World Champion, and the modern Puente de la Mujer. By limiting the Monserrat neighborhood can visit the Plaza de Mayo, and all the important buildings around and in doing so also with the St. Nicholas Neighborhood encountering the Metropolitan Cathedral. Location and Postal Code are those of Puerto Madero, phone and website Official Tourism Site of the city located in Balcarce 360. Stage 2, front.

Like crossing a modern island very close to the historical center

Suelo ir a cenar ahí a menudo.
The elegant district of Puerto Madero is the most modern of Buenos Aires. Separated from the Old Town, a collection of skyscrapers concentrated awesome. Business and leisure center of the capital is one of my favorites. Puerto Madero is located in one of the sectors of the port which had fallen into disuse. Fully renovated Puerto Madero left the "Buenos Aires tradition" and was filled with buildings, restaurants, cafes, and nightclubs along its banks. I go there often for dinner. While just a few blocks from downtown, the Plaza de Mayo and Casa Rosada, Puerto Madero is distinct and separate from the city. It is located as an island, works at a different pace, has a calmer atmosphere. It happens to cross the Bridge of the Woman and I wonder if I'm still in Buenos Aires. It is a high-end neighborhood but keeps in touch with nature, as it is inhabited by squares, fountains, statues and gardens. A detail, its streets are named after famous Argentine women. The modern era of Puerto Madero begins with the installation of the Women's Bridge, the bridge of the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. That bridge has a hypnotic effect. If I were asked, I would say that today is the image of Buenos Aires. Years ago I would have said it was the Obelisk. The cultural center Faena Art Center became the meeting point for contemporary art in Buenos Aires. It was built in an old mill and a warehouse dock. Nearby is the modern Faena Hotel + Universe, designed by Philippe Starck. Both belong to Argentine businessman Alan Faena. In Puerto Madero's sumptuous residences. The departments of the buildings in this district are very expensive. Eating in some of their restaurants, too. My favorites are, at night, Estilo Campo, on Avenida Alicia Moreau de Justo. By day, I recommend iFresh Market on Azucena Villaflor. Puerto Madero is actually the future who moved to Buenos Aires.

One of the most affluent neighborhoods...

E o melhor a localização.
One of the most affluent neighborhoods in the city, quiet streets, beautiful people, amazing restaurants, museums ... and the best location. The accommodation in this neighborhood is extremely expensive, why it is a neighborhood "for gringo" see, both in hotels and apartments for rent. The restaurants are great because they accept the real. Strengths: luxury buildings, Hilton, Shore Park, boats and ferry terminal, restaurants, frigates ... Unfortunately the train passing through the village is broken due to financial crisis.

The spectacular Puente de la Mujer is a...

The spectacular Puente de la Mujer is a work of the great architect Santiago Calatrava opened in Buenos Aires in 2001. The bridge, very stylish and elegant, is the synthesis of a couple dancing tango. White concrete construction in the Spanish city of Vitoria, the bridge is pedestrian and has one moving part, necessary to allow the passage of ships through the Dock 3, where it is located. Despite his young age, the bridge and is a symbol of Puerto Madero, the spectacular new town area, which is between the old docks of the port and the Rio de la Plata. No self-respecting Buenos Aires denying that the change has been amazing. And so fast, just over a decade, it's hard to get used to. The truth is that the docks and Puerto Madero docks were a few years ago no man's land, or rather land of beggars and vagrants. The docks were falling apart, and levees were dirty, stagnant water, and dotted with shipwrecks. Today the site is amazing. The dikes, which are four, have been cleaned and its waters lie beautiful and luxurious yachts sailboats. Closed to Avenida Eduardo Madero docks on the east bank are flanked by newly built modern buildings. On its ground floor restaurants and bars work have terraces over the water. The place is just awesome. From any of them you see the silhouette of the Women s Bridge and the skyline of Buenos Aires silhouetted against the sky.

Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires. This is...

PUERTO MADERO, BUENOS AIRES. Es...

PUERTO MADERO, BUENOS AIRES.
