Lynton

Lynton is a small town in Devon, southwest England. It is in the northern part of Exmoor National Park, in a region with great natural diversity. Lynton is linked with Lynmouth basically the town is located on top of a cliff into the sea, and Lynmouth is on the other side, the fishing port next to the beach. To go from one to another, you have to take a cable car or take the car back. It is a popular city in the summer. Lynton has moe than Lynmouth. For example there is a hospital, several businesses. I recommend you to stay down, but up to Lynton to visit the town worthwhile. In the funicular that takes you, you have spectacular views over the Devon coast.

Lynton was a beautiful stop on one of our longer journeys.

Good

It’s full of amazing shops that cater to every need. It has places that make the most amazing fudge right down to places that sell clothes and shells and other beach produce. Whilst unfortunately I didn’t have time to go on the rail car I know from other travellers that it is highly recommended. When the tide is out you can also explore the harbour for shells and crabs in the little pools. If you don’t have any luck then the shop opposite the beach sells locally sourced shells that are gorgeously intact.
