A walk by the sea in the heart of the city

One of the best things you can do in Bari, capital of the Italian region of Puglia, is to walk by the sea. And interestingly, this pretty little known town has one of the largest "lungomares" of Italy. The unique architectural aspect that presents is due to the large number of buildings of 20 and 30 years who were raised along the sea. From the pier of St. Nicholas, where we can see the circle Canottieri Barion. Near Ste building is the former Kursaal, which has been recently restored theater style art-dec (Liberty in Italy). Continuing the walk renamed the lungomare Nazario Sauro and l can find the Palazzo della Provincia reminiscent of Renaissance buildings with square campanile, though with far less grace than these. The promenade along the sea admiring the curious facades passing through Futurism or Rigid style and fascist little stiff, reminds us that Bari is a large city and outside the walls of the old city there are countless charming spots. If you can, you walk at dusk when they begin to turn on streetlights and buildings with clear room on one side and couples on benches overlooking the sea that breaks right side is really magical.

Perfect for a walk

Perfetto per una passeggiata

Excellent
There are many things you can see from there, the canoeists and canoeists who drive their vehicles, the boats fishing fish, or simply the fishermen fishing with their cane. Perfect and unforgettable place.
