A new restaurant
The restaurant L'Oulette is on Lachambaudie Square and can be reached with bus 62 from the great national library or metro stop Cours Saint Emilion (line 14). It's a new restaurant, housed in an office building, which is filled mostly with workers at noon. At night it's a neighborhood place for fashion with young couples and groups of friends, but it's open daily for dinner. The dishes are from southwestern France with very good presentation, it's almost a gastronomic restaurant. Starters cost 16-22 euros, foie gras, zucchini soup, shellfish, ham and snails. There's a great selection of fish (30 euros more or less) and some meats such as duck with forest mushrooms and sirloin with pepper.
