What’s better than exploring the San Pablo neighborhood in the rain when you’re a bit tired and hungry? Well, finding a small, warm, and welcoming restaurant that serves authentic homemade food.
They have a menu on the wall with a choice of 7 or 8 starters, a selection of mains, and some desserts. They have vegetarian and meat dishes, all 100% Roman. The baked eggplant with parmesan gratin is incredible but the pasta is the highlight. I recommend the taglioline and the “tonnarellicacio e pepe” (a fresh pasta with cheese and pepper). The veggie plates like the “barba di prete” (a kind of leafy green) are also particularly good.
