Los Escullos Beach

Los Escullos están situados prácticamente en el extremo sudeste de la Península Ibérica a 16 kilómetros del famoso Cabo de Gata. He visitado Los Escullos en numerosas ocasiones y, si bien otros visitantes destacan las maravillosas playas, la gastronomía del lugar o la calidez tanto del clima como de los oriundos, a mí me gustaría destacar la luz. Casi todos los días podemos ver cielos rasos (no en vano es uno de los lugares de España en los que hay menos precipitaciones) con una luz especial. Por estos lares se han rodado muchas películas (como por ejemplo Indiana Jones y la última cruzada) y los especialistas coinciden. Esa luz tan potente, tan clara, tan brillante... La falta de contaminación ayuda a que se mantenga intacta. Esa es otra de las ventajas del lugar: ven de noche y verás más estrellas de las que nunca hubieras imaginado. Los Escullos...de día y de noche...¡¡mágico!!

La Playa de los Escullos en el Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata, Níjar, Almería, es una playa de aguas claras, solitaria dependiendo de la época del año y algo incómoda por las numerosas piedras dentro del agua, cerca hay un camping, un pequeño hotel y algún restaurante. Las rocas que salen del agua le dan un aspecto muy peculiar y fotogénico.

Un sitio muy recomendable si lo que se quiere es pasar unos días tranquilos de sol y mar. La temperatura del agua, (al menos en agosto), es una exquisitez, lo mismo te puedes bañar a las 8 de la mañana que a las 10 de la noche. Muy cerquita se encuentra el pueblo de San José. La localización de google maps que acompaña a este rincón no es la correcta, porque se va a la calle "Los Escullos" en Almería en lugar de indicar el pueblo. Pasé una estupenda semana de vacaciones en este camping. Muy completo. Buen ambiente. Precioso lugar para ver amanecer y atardecer. Buena gente. Playas y calitas de ensueño. Muy cerca del pueblo de San José.

A highly recommended place if what you want is to spend a few quiet days of sun and sea. Water temperature (at least in August), is a delicacy, as you can swim at 8 in the morning to 10 at night. si quieres desconectar y cargar las pilas aquí encontraras tu paraíso, un lugar tranquilo dentro del parque natural de cabo gata en almeria. Pasamos unos días fantásticos, estuvimos en el camping de los escullos un lugar muy tranquilo para pasar unos días os lo recomiendo si os gusta la naturaleza, el mar, pasear y la tranquilidad.

Una playa preciosa y bastante tranquila, cerca del pueblo de San José, en el parque natural de Cabo de Gata. Es importante llevar escarpines o zapatillas de agua ya que la entrada al mar es de piedras pequeñas, la arena es más fina cerca del peñón grande, un lugar espectacular para la fotografía hacia la caída del sol.

Al carecer de filtros, siempre me toca madrugar algo más y buscar un único encuadre, pues en las demás fotos la velocidad de obturación no sería lo demasiado lenta para sacar las nubes así. Pues, una tarde de verano que se presentaba con tormenta, aproveché para dar una vuelta por la costa almeriense para hacer unas fotillos, hacía mucho viento el cielo estaba gris y las olas cada vez rompían mas fuerte, en ese mometo vi un tendedero de madera en la misma playa, y tendida una tela que la tocaba el viento con mucha elegancia, me quedé prendado de la situación y por eso la fotografié
