London Eye

Excuses about the long queues or prices aren't welcome, although they may seem unfair at first glance. The lines go fast and prices for an unforgettable experience is bearable. The wheel rotates so slowly that you barely sense movement and have the constant feeling of being in an almost motionless viewpoint. It is perfect for visiting at sunset, as was my case, and watch the lighting change at Parliament, for example, or the sun reflect off the Thames. There are exceptional views that can not be replicated by any other. The glass capsules provide a clear view of the environment and opportunity for taking pictures.

. Apart from waiting in a huge line, the experience was definitely worth it. I didn’t particularly think such thing could be exciting, but seeing this amazing city from such height was kind of.. magical.

This is not some kind of thrilling experience (well unless you have fear of heights), rather calming I’d say and I would recommend this “attraction” for anyone visiting London, doesn’t really matter it’s your 1st or the 100th time. Have fun!

London Eye is a giant ferris wheel on the south Bank of the River Thames in London. Also known as Millennium Wheel, its official name, it's a nice place to enjoy views of London on a clear day...
