Lomond Park Hotel

Loch Lomond is the largest lake in Scotland and one of the most beautiful. It's fairly easy to find from Glasgow; take the train to Balloch, and it's a 5 minute walk away. To take full advantage of the place, you can stay at the Lomond Park Hotel. Next door is Lomond Shores, a new shopping center that mixes local products and international stores. The Lomond Park Hotel is an old house, and is a quiet place with 17 rooms. Downstairs there is a pub and restaurant. The decor is a bit old and basic, but it's cheap, prices range from £30-60 per night including a full Scottish breakfast. The rooms have TV and kettle for tea.
