Church of ancient times
Logie Kirk has been a church (and cemetery) in the area for a little over 1,300 years, in fact it's one of the most traditional churches and most frequented in the area. It lies almost in the middle of mountains, between the renowned Willam Wallace monument and the remains of the medieval abbey of St Mary of Cambuskenneth, which depended on the church in medieval times. Today the building we appreciate is nineteenth century as the antique rural church was collapsing, and whose remains are about 800 meters from the building we see today. Although it belongs to the Church of Scotland, you can still find many traces of the old Catholic practice - Roman.
