A great place to unwind
Standing on a rocky promontory jutting into Loch Assynt in Sutherland, northwest Highlands, Scotland, Ardvreck Castle is a ruined castle that dates back to the sixteenth century. The ruins can be reached by car via the A837 which follows the north shore of Loch Assynt from the village of Inchnadamph. A great place to unwind, with the wilds of nature surrounding the historical site.
