Way of the Trossachs (1) - Stirling
The Trossachs natural park is known in much of the world for its beauty and spaciousness. To reduce it to the title of Loch Lomond would almost be a sin, it's much more than that, even though it has contact with the lake there are areas with difficult access that are unknown and that reflect the less commercial and more wild face of Loch Lomond. There's a road that connects Stirling with this lake that forms a tourist route of the Natural Reserve of the Trossachs (corresponding to the district of Stirling). Loch Ard was the 1st scenic stop on our journey, this lake/loch is at the foot of the small village of Kinlochard, where the lake is most visited.
