Bretagne
Lizio
This town is far from the main roads and for many years it was on the verge of disappearing, but since the 70s it has seen remarkable growth and has since learned to exploit its rich Breton heritage. There isn't a castle or basilica, or monumental palaces, but there is a network of houses that are older than 300 years and are some of the best representations of popular civil construction of inland Brittany. There are houses with slate roof and granite facades of xantofilia that is plagued by lichen, which goes to show the air quality in the area. More lichen means better air quality.
