A must see
Just an hour's drive from Munich, in southern Germany I found one of the best "quirks" of King Ludwig II of Bavaria, The Linderhof Palace. It's a small palace with clear influences from the Palace of Versailles near Paris. It's amazing to see the power, wealth and good taste of Ludwig II. There are guided visits and they are the only way to enter. You can't see it on your own. They are in English, French or German. There are also written guides in Spanish to follow more calmly.
