Lighthouse of San Pedro de Muel

One of the special things about the Portuguese town of San Pedro de Muel is its beautiful lighthouse. It is located about two kilometers from the village and the area has been converted beautifully for everyone to enjoy a spectacular walk with superb views. There is a kind of road with wooden tables running along the coast to the lighthouse. Along the road you can enjoy spectacular views of the cliffs in the area that are continually struck by the Atlantic Ocean. The road is very simple and is about two miles long. The only recommendation is that anyone suffering from vertigo should not get too close to the railings as the drop is steep.
