Laxe Lighthouse
The Laxe is a lighthouse which has improved over time. It marked the entrance of the estuary of Corme until 1995 when it came to have a range of 22 miles and appearance of group 5 flashes every 20 seconds. What did not change was its simple tower, 11 meters high, built between 1919 and 1920. Characterized by its austerity, is a reinforced concrete tower,4 white tiled, making it glow on sunny days. Access to the lighthouse from the fishing village of Laxe, which has a busy fishing port, merchant and pleasure craft, and is about 2 km from the city centre.
