Port Adelaide Lighthouse

The lighthouse is in fact outside the city of Adelaide, in the area of Port Adelaide. It is particularly striking because of its red colour. It's a popular spot for locals and foreign tourists, with many coming here to admire the ocean or simply to enjoy a quiet spot. There are plenty of organised tours making it easy to visit. In this town 14 km northwest of the city of Adelaide, you can also visit the National Railway Museum, and see the museums of the aviation and navy of South Australia. From the port, the view is particularly beautiful at sunset.
