Liberty Helicopters

On my last trip to New York in 2007, I was lucky enough to have the unforgettable experience of flying over the city and its surroundings in a helicopter. It was only a 12 minute tour, but it cost about $136 with tax. Okay, so it wasn't cheap, but it was fantastic. We left our things in a locker and attended a short safety meeting, then we were given life jackets and we clambered into the helicopter. There were six of us, so things were a bit of a squeeze, but I was lucky enough to sit at the side, where I could really enjoy the views. The pilot offered a little tour on our headphones, but I didn't really understand between the noise and his accent.
