The Foulées du Gois is a race against time between man and nature from the Passage du Gois to the Ile de Noirmoutier in Beauvoir-sur-Mer. Over four miles of road, thirty international athletes walk this way before the tide comes in. This is a competition at the highest professional level where participants struggle against the tide to reach the goal. I Foulées du Gois has no equivalent in the world.
