ANADEL
Les Escaletes Palace
This is a striking building for its architecture and its gothic style. The building has had many roles throughout history. Today it is divided into three rooms: Meson de la Villa, located in the basement of the building. On the first floor is old town hall, now a museum and the Municipal offices are upstairs in the old church of San Miguel. The oldest part is the Meson de la Vila, with its thick walls and masonry arches. In the early seventeenth century its facade was renovated to adapt to new tastes. Elements of architectural interest in addition to the facade are the round staircase and carved
Stone tower and the hall of the Brotherhood of San Miguel (current municipal offices) built in the second half of the fifteenth century and connected to the sixteenth century arcaded square.
