Manufacture some of their own beers
Geneva doesn't have too many places to eat and drink at affordable prices. However, around station square, or plaza Cornavin, you can find "haunts" where a drink won't empty your pockets. One of these sites is Les Brasseurs: A beer garden of the square. The menu has both French and German dishes, lovely pizzas (or Flam) and salads, they also manufacture some of their own beers.
