The restaurant Les Bafouettes is just around the corner in Port-Joinville's harbour and it surprises you with its white facade and turquoise awnings. This small restaurant retains the area's tradition and high quality food with a fish-based menu. This is the town's quietest area and you can enjoy either a quick lunch menu or something more sophisticated like the gourmet menus, which are ideal for romantic dinners. The most prominent specialties are fried prawns with curry and flambéed with Calvados liqueur, sea sauerkraut, rice with tuna, foie gras terrine with Banyuls, chanterelles fried snails and mushrooms, scallops, lobster and all kinds of seafood.
