3 reviews of Leeds City Museum

A bit of everything

Just off the train at Leeds is the tourist information office. When asked about the places to visit, I was struck by how the super nice employee described the Leeds City Museum. According to her, you had to visit because it was interesting, and you could find everything there- from antiques to paintings, Egyptian artifacts, private collections. So we did. It is next to The Academy and the City Hall in the city center. The building is pretty cool from the outside and admission is free. Inside there is indeed a bit of everything.

Interesting exhibits

The Leeds City Museum is located in the town of Leeds and offers interesting exhibits and interactive displays over four floors with large screens suspended from the ceiling. tHE Museum of the City of Leeds is a live show that tells the story of Leeds, nature, ancient Egypt and Africa, some countries which are represented.
